What we do

Sun Impex creates original animation for learning. For learning about almost anything, for body, for nature, for human values, for religion, for lifestyle, for history, for tutorials, for presentations, for games, for fun etc.

How we do

1. Story/Idea
A Good concept is usually born about 3 days after a brainstorming session with our team.

2. Show & Tell
After We solidify an idea or initial concept for a production, it helps to have visuals sp we can pitch our idea to a client. Our artists sketch out a few colorful pictures that aid in this communication process.

3. Development
Once we persuade a client to buy an idea- scripts, charaters and sets must be written, created and approved.

4. Sign Off
Our Directors site with our storyboard artists and go through the entire script frame by frame. Detailed storyboards enable the client to literally see an idea come to life. Hopefully this gives our client an added measure of confidence in our work and a thumbs up to begin the production.

5. Production
Once production begins, each character is hand-made out of clay. Props, sets and backgrounds are made from a variety of materials such as clay, wood, paper , metal, glass cloth and plastic. Depending on the particular project our backgrounds can also be drawn, painted or created on a computer.

6. Track
After auditioning voice-over talent, the voices for charaters are recorded together, just as if it were a live radio producton. We animate to these recorded soundtracks, matching each charater’s lips to the corresponding voice.

7. Animation
The actual animation process is the most time consuming because it is done by hand.In film there are 24 frames per second and in video there are 30 frames per second.

8. Post
Final editing takes place, where we add finishing touches such as computer enhancement, sound effects and music.

9. Premier
Finally, we have a screening party to acknowledge each other’s talents, appreciate all our hard work and thank our happy client.
